Can't create a new topic from the forum homepage

When I tried to create a new topic at this page: https://forum.gg.deals/ - it's impossible, I have to go to General discussion or Feedback sub-page to be able to create a new topic.

I had this problem few months ago, it's quite annoying, since it's possible to click the button "start a discussion", it should be possible to create a new topic, or that button should be unavailable at the homepage.

DreamerEight Can you be more specific? Why can't you create a new discussion? Do you get any error messages?

rob006 Steps to reproduce:

using Firefox, Windows 10
go to https://forum.gg.deals/
click the button "Start a Discussion"
type "test" to both fields, title and post
click the button "Post Discussion"
"Choose Tags for Your Discussion" dialog is shown
type any tag, e.g. "test"
click "OK" button

Result is, that nothing happens, can't click the OK button.

So I found, that I have to close that dialog, click the button "Post Discussion" again and click "General discussion", then it's probably possible to create new post, but it's not intuitive, because the empty field text is "Choose a primary tag" - and the "General Discussion" looks greyed-out, not as a button, or clickable item.

DreamerEight You need to select one of the existing tags. Input where you typed "test" is a search field. And since we don't have "test" tag, there are no suggested tags to select - in that case "OK" button is inactive. Right now we have only 2 tags (Feedback and General Discussion), if you select select of them, you should be able to start new discussion.

rob006 Yes, I found that already, I think I knew about it, but it was few months ago - but I had the same problem now, because it's not intuitive, as I said.

I think the word "tag" is used for multiple words for the topic, perhaps a better term would be "category".
I'm using a dark mode and the second "tag" or category really looks as greyed-out - inactive, so it's really not intuitive IMHO, I wonder that I'm the only one.
