Alerts - Mass Edit

Is there a way to edit all alerts at once? Or even delete all the alerts at once?

I can select all the alerts, but when I clicked the edit button alongside one of the alerts all it did was update that one item, not what I was expecting as all the alerts were still selected.

When all the alerts are selected, the only global option is to "clear selected", there is no global edit or global delete.

I have 158 alerts, I really don't want to have to edit each and every one. ☹️

I've tried searching this forum, but it seems the search function is very basic (no advanced) and therefore I'm just presented with a mass of irrelevant posts. 😕

There is a bar on the bottom of the screen. Did you miss it? Perhaps we need to work on its visibility.

🤦‍♂️ Hmm... Not sure if I missed it or it wasn't appearing. I did look, and look, and look, honest. 😉 Testing it just now, it seems pretty obvious when the bar pops up, so I don't know why I would have missed it. Anyway, it's there now.

With regards to visibility, I have the following suggestions:

make the bar/buttons appear alongside the toggle for selecting all the items, as that is where the user's focus will be at the time of clicking the toggle
avoid using the very bottom of the page, many, many websites use this area to ask for cookie permissions, or for advertising, and I've become accustomed to ignoring bars/banners at the bottom of the screen (maybe that's how I missed it)

Im pretty sure that the "By using the website, you accept our privacy policy" bar is overlapping it.
