Humble Bundle 20% Store Discount

Hi,

would it be possible to integrate a switch / setting in the user profile to automatically apply the Humble Choice subscriber discount to Humble Store.

Notet that this discount is up to 20% and user settable, so in the best case it should be a slider or something in the user preferences.

It gets from time to time annoying and manually rechecking prices on Humble Store, if I have a better price with my discount.

Perhaps you also should put a note to the slider that this discount is not always available at the publishers' discretion.

They once told me that they had plans to cover the Humble discount, a long time ago., But it obviously never had any priority.

I generally don't get why they invest so much time in the design of this site or the key shop integration, while relatively simple feature requests remain ignored for two years and more.

At the moment we have a problem with obtaining Humble prices due to their new anti-bot protection system. Once that issue is sorted, we can think of implementing the custom Humble Store discounts
Is't not an easy task by no means. It affect so many aspects of the site (filtering, cache, alert triggers etc). Not to mention the fact that not all games get 20% discount and simplifying this will affect the accuracy of our price comparison
We prioritize tasks that are most requested by the community. Currently improved keyshop integration and dark mode are the most wishlisted features, hence they will be implemented first.

Is there a reason it can't be handled the way ITAD does it?

I can hide any store, I can set the price to be adjusted additionally or multiplicatively. I have Humble multiplied by 0.8 and it effectively works.

Regarding 2,. - Oh, I know that Humble's discount isn't easy.

I meant other suggestions, like my request to add a bundle filter. As there already is a counter for how often games have been in bundles, this indeed would be a very easy to implement feature.
Sure, not heavily requested but very very easy. Yet I didn't even receive any feedback after bringing this up several times.

That's only a half-baked "solution" because some game just get a 10% discount and others none. Receiving wrong prices all the time is hardly satisfying.

We have implemented a "special discount filter" on game cards which includes a Humble Choice discount. \o/

It is a much more sophisticated solution than on ITAD:

We let the users select their current membership tier - 10% / 15% / 17% / 20%
We recognize where the discount is applicable and where it isn't. If a game is excluded from the Choice discount, then we apply a 0% discount on GG.deals.
Humble offers only a 5% discount on select games/DLC regardless of your membership tier. We recognize such games and apply only a 5% discount

You can also save your default filters in your settings, and the filters will be remembered each time you visit GG.deals
