API to get gg.deals links and price data, to display on Steam

I would love gg.deals to be included in the third-party links added to Steam game pages by the Augmented Steam, but not sure if that will happen since it's currently developed by a rival service.

Either way, adding something like that via any userscript or extension would probably require an API request with the Steam game id to the gg.deals and getting back the gg.deals game url. Also, an API could provide a way to show current low/historical low on Steam pages like SteamDB extension already does, but with more stores. Is that currently possible/planned?

At some point definitely yes, we would want to have our own Augmented Steam. But we don't have plans to create it near future, we want to focus on improving website for now.

However if someone has experience with creating browser plugins, please contact with us - we may help with creating API and pay for maintaining such plugin.

I already shared my script in another topic, but I think it makes sense to share it here as well (I hope @enchained gets notified).
So, I managed to write a Tampermonkey script that includes the gg.deals link to a game in its Steam store page. My web dev skills are limited, so for now all I coul do was to replace the PCGW link. Adding a separate button for gg.deals requires actually studying Javascript (or A LOT of trial and error using the SteamDB extension code).

Forgot to mention it requires the SteamDb extension (which is the one that puts the PCGW button there).

I don't have the option to delete nor edit my comments, so I'll have to post another one.
I noticed the "Community Hub" link at the top was redundant (there's anoter one labeled "View Discussions"), and also it doesn't depend on the SteamDB extension. So now my script turns "Community Hub" into a link to gg.deals. And the link has the GG logo, matching the style of the links beside it. It got bigger than the other two by accident (don't know CSS enough. I liked it though), and the tooltip doesn't appear. In fact, I spent more time trying to fix the tooltip than to do the rest.

I'm not so familiar with Pastebin, but it seems the same link will have the updated code

If you use Augmented Steam(which I highly recommend), you can add a direct link to GG.DEALS on the steam store page. It would be better to just see the price right there, but this is the next best thing.

To do this, go to Augmented Steam's settings and on the left click Store>App Page. then scroll down and click "Add custom link" under "Options for information from 3rd-party sites"

Add these details:

Name: GG.DEALS
URL: gg.deals/steam/app/[ID]
Icon: gg.deals/favicon-32x32.png

Now a button will appear on the left of every steam page taking you directly to the GG.DEALS page. Hope this helps!

ThiccBaron No. We had some plans to release API with prices info for specific game (it could be used by plugins like Augmented Steam), but other things pop up and work on API has been postponed.

Does GG.deals get the prices from Kinguin, Eneba etc. via a private API? I presume that your partnerships with these sites give you access to such a thing, as it seems they don't have public APIs, at least not for something as simple as getting prices. Am I correct?
