Possible issues with duplicate game names and itch pricing

Possible Idea Possible Bugs.. I don't know you decide.

A few games I have found have the same name as other games of the same name. Examples with there steam link

Lost

EA game of the same name
How does it handle this? Well right now it reports on the first one. But when the second comes out what will happen with alerts and such.

Bonfire

Again how will alerts work with this. It seems to be confused as to when there are price drops.

Basement

Was mixing up with a game of the same name on itch but it seems itch has been removed from the price feed so this is no longer the case. But that brings me to my next issue

Voxel Tycoon
Not on steam yet (it will be) but it is on itch and its reporting as nothing found it seems that the price connection to itch no longer exists this may be a bug this may be intentional I don't know.. Just reporting it.

I have fixed the issue with games with the same name ("Lost" have a new record over here - 4 games with the same name 😂 ). Of course, it shouldn't be like, and every game should have it's own page on GG. Sometimes it's hard to notice if something with the same name dropped on Steam, so things like that happens. But we are doing what we can to prevent such a thing from happening 🙂

As for the prices from Itch.io, we are not supporting this store - you won't find here any deals from this store. You can post an idea to support for this store: https://forum.gg.deals/t/ideas
Depending on how many people will also want a support for this platform, we will consider adding it on GG.deals 🙂
