I don't think it would be possible (at least not at this moment) for Kickstarter projects to appear on main page. Mostly because news on this website are focused on sales, bundles, and freebies (and of course our giveaways! 🙂). Supporting games in-development is not our main goal. Of course, we wouldn't mind a thread for talks about Kickstarter, as long as it won't turn into a place for advertising purposes only.

Furrek Ok but what with Kickstarter projects of sequel known games or remaster of classics ? (for example if I'm good thinking, Pillars of Eternity 2 had a Kickstarter campaign and we could get game for less than currently on steam store or somewhere else). It's great deal for potential buyers I think 🙂

Buying games on Kickstarter usually means you get them cheaper. It's not a big discount, but still, the store price will be higher, so I'd count it as a "sale" 🙂

Oh boy, that would be great. I still haven't found the one, good place to check all interesting titles on Kickstarter. You know, the one site to show them all 😛 And as aRo said, it's... kind of a sale, so why not to promote it?

Great idea, but I think that it will require somebody who will pick those games. Not everything is worth showing but still you can find great games there.

taniecchochola And not everyone has the same taste in games. Wouldn't popularity be a main factor then? You could pick the ones you find interesting from the most popular titles.

It should work, after all, it isn't site that shows some hidden pearls in Kickstarter but reveals greatest deals 😉

I don't think that Kickstarter games should be on this site, in my opinion it's not a promotion at all, it can be a lot of time between funding campaign and game release and most importantly, there are a lot of games on Kickstarter and at what criteria games would have been chosen?

I don't think I ever supported a game from kickstarter, I just prefer to buy fully released game, when I know what I'm paying for and I agree with what daft said, but if for some reason there would be news about those games on main page I guess I wouldn't mind that.

I think news about the kickstarter games aren't needed on site about promotions. I don't think there will be a great opportunity on this site. So I don't like this idea.
