Email Alerts Sent without meeting Custom Price

I signed up for GG Deals 20 hours ago, adding several games to my Wishlist.
I have the same Email Alerts (Custom Price) setup for all games on my Wishlist.
All Notifications are set to Instant Email.

In the past 9 hours I've received 2 emails letting me that some of the games I have on my Wishlist are 'featured in news.'
None of these games are at my custom price, so I'm not sure why I'm receiving these emails.
I believe, per the settings I have for every game on my Wishlist, that I should only receive an email once a game meets my Custom Price.

MADDOG News notifications are separate from price notifications. Target price, DRM, and store settings are ignored in case of news notification, the only thing that matters is whether the news is related to the game or not. If you don't want such notifications, you can disable them in alert settings. But please read Cannot remove news notifications (comment) first, since there will be a lot less news in the near future, and you may miss some interesting deals if you disable news notifications.
