Separate free from historical lowest

Is it possible to separate free from historical lowest? I'd like to know what the cheapest price a game has been before. I can't see that since the game in question has been free before. At least maybe put a tag that the game has been free

Wouldn't you get upset if previous freebies start spamming the historical low section?

It has been a while since I wrote this feedback so I don't quite remember my issue with this. Maybe it has it has gotten better since I wrote it. I now can see historical price graph, which is good.
But my point to put a tag that the game has been free at some point still stand.

Has the potential to just add confusion and clutter to the UI. If I want to know if the game has been free or any other data on historical pricing, I view the games historical data.

For historical low data you have the 1st Historical low which would be Free but then the next best price. So games that have been Free aren't obfuscating data.

And from what I believe @rob006 is saying, that functionality already exists on the site in the 'By Time' section.

Until right now I didn't actually know 'By Time' existed. It wasn't until I was looking at the UI more closely. @remike I would suggest adding icons to By Price and By Time to make them more visible. Example:

I feel like this feature request is a result of more general issue with historical low concept: one price drop can ruin historical low for related game forever. While freebies are the most noticeable examples of this problem, this also affects regular prices and having special rule for freebies will not help that much. Soon some games will have almost a decade of price history. Considering factors such as inflation, currency rates changes and some crazy one-time promotions, there is a good chance some some historical lows will never be reached again.

Personally I think we should add something like "recently low" for deals that are the best price since last 6 or 12 months. For people that search for good prices it should be much more useful information than the fact that game was really cheap (or free) 6 years ago.

I agree. Here I would suggest adding a preset to search games that are a historical low from pricing over the last year. Example:
