Something is wrong with prices

geostigma But the prices (on the screenshot) from GG are in euros, and GMG is showing dollars so I don't quite understand what's wrong here. I have checked UK, EU and US prices both on GG and GMG and everything is fine. Also, as far as I know, there is no way to track VIP prices.

By the way, the both prices on the left are showing only Deluxe Edition deal - the price displayed in bigger font is with discount, and the smaller one is the base price. It's not the "Standard/Deluxe" at once.

Yeah but Euro is bigger than USD so the price shown in Euros is wrong, no?
The price without the VIP for the Deluxe is $55.65 yet on the GG it shows it as 56,30€, when it should show 49.09€.

geostigma It doesn't work that way. GreenManGaming have different pricing for different regions (something similar to Steam regional pricing, but it's not so advanced). It's not simply convert euro to usd, usd to something else.

What I'm saying is that the price here on GG should be different, not on GMG.
GG simply converts all prices to regional currency, no? In my case that's Euro. If true then;

GMG price for the deluxe is $55,65
$55,65 converted to Euro is 49,09€
On GG, the price for the Deluxe shows 56,30€ (but it should read 49,09€)

The price shown on GG is higher than the actual price of the game on GMG.
It's wrong no matter how you look at it. Or is there something big I'm not getting 😅

geostigma I see, I misunderstood you at first. There is no option to switch only currency - it switch both region and currency. So yeah, it won't show you converted USD price but the default one for the EU region.

geostigma GMG has different prices for different regions. UK has prices in GBP, USA has prices in USD and most of Europe has prices in EUR. And they're not the same - price for Europe is not the same as price for USA but converted from USD to EUR.

For Europe price is 56.30 EUR discounted from 71.27 EUR. There is no conversion of these prices on GG.deals side, because there is no need for it - prices are already in Euro. If you're from Europe and you're seeing prices in USD in GMG, it may mean that:
a) Region of your IP is incorrectly detected by GMG, so they think you're from different country.
b) GMG does not use EUR prices for your country, and prices for Europe on GG.deals may not always match prices from store.

The conversion or the currency is not the problem here but the inaccuracy of the price.

GG shows 56,30€ as a Deluxe edition price
Converted to USD, that's $63,78 which is inaccurate as the game price is actually $55,65
The information on GG for GMG is inaccurate since the price should read 49,09€, and not 56,30€

rob006 Yeah, I don't know what it is either.
I remember that there was an option to display prices on GMG in either Euro or USD and that, despite being from Europe I've chosen USD however, I can't seem to find that option on their website now.
It's not really annoying, I can live with it, and I've posted primarily to let you guys know. Cheers

geostigma I have set the voucher at wrong discount - who would have know that 25OFFDMC5 is actually making it 6.5% cheaper. Fixed, sorry for the trouble!
