Question about alerts historical price

I have one question:
Let say it is new game with price 100 and with historical low 100
When i set alert for historical low price - which situation is true?:
1) It will inform me about every promotion in the future. For example first promotion with price 80, then after this about promotion for 90 end so on.
2) Will inform me about first price under 100 (for example 80), then dont inform me about second promotion for 90 (as historical low is 80 after first promotion), then inform me about 70 promotion?

I guess it is option number 1? I would prefer to have also option numer 2 if possible...

In my case with MHW, it's been the first case. It notified me each time the price of the game went under 35€ during the last few days. Nice to know, but I will be editing it again. So yeah, I guess you would have to edit the price again.

We already added automatically updated historical lows a while back. So now we're in the scenario 2 from your description.
