Hey everyone,
Better late than never, but I wanted to jump in and address this directly. I’m from the Driffle team, where I work on product decisions and customer experience. Honestly, I feel terrible that I wasn’t the first one here to reply to @spigias and that’s on me, and I appreciate @progiamo for stepping in to help clear things up in the meantime.
Reading through this thread, it’s clear we could have been more transparent about how we handle reviews. Trust is the only thing that keeps a platform like ours alive, and if you guys feel that trust is shaken, we need to fix it.
To give you some context on how things work: we do sometimes allow a review to be challenged, but only in very specific "fairness" cases, like if a review contains personal doxxing, foul language, or if a customer confirms their issue was fully resolved and wants to update their feedback.
Here’s the part I want to be 100% clear on: Even if a review is "neutralised" or hidden from the public storefront for the reasons above, it is never deleted from our records. We track a "Defective Key Ratio" for every seller that sticks with them for the entire lifetime of their profile and this also include issues for which the reviews are neutralised. We use this data internally to hold sellers accountable; if they hit certain thresholds, they are banned from selling that product or kicked off the platform entirely. We don't "clean the slate" for anyone, the data always stays.
That said, we’ve heard you loud and clear. From a gamer’s perspective, seeing reviews disappear feels wrong, regardless of the reason. Because we truly believe the "Customer is King," we’ve made the call to stop hiding reviews unless they are objectively proven to be false.
It might take a little bit for these changes to reflect on the site, but please know there is zero intention to scam anyone here. Most of us at Driffle are gamers ourselves, and we take a lot of pride in being part of this community. We’re committed to doing things with integrity and staying transparent with you all.
Thanks for keeping us on our toes. As gamers, we always strive to be better than the last try.
