I'm in the United States, and recently I've noticed that every single time I do a game search on gg.deals, I'm forced to sit through the Cloudflare "Verifying you are human..." verification. Sometimes it will succeed and progress to my search results, but it takes 30-60 secs to complete. Most of the time, I'm forced to hit the "back button," which actually skips the verification and will provide my search results.
I'm just trying to figure out what's going on. I've been accessing the site on my Android phone (Motorola Razr) through a mobile browser (Chrome). I haven't tried it on my PC, yet, as I do most of my searches using my mobile device (when I have time to sit down at the PC, that's gaming time 😁). I don't use a VPN, all location settings are enabled and accurate for my location, and I can't find any other typical reason for the Cloudflare verification to trigger every time.
I understand that certain countries are known for malicious traffic, and can result in more active protections (such as certain parts of Asia), but for the life of me, I can't figure out why my device (in a Podunk part of the US) is requiring such an intrusive level of verification.
Is anyone else experiencing similar problems? Are the admins aware of anything that could be causing this issue? I don't plan to stop using gg.deals (it's far too useful of a site), but it's becoming quite the PITA to simply look up a game.
