Is Steam wishlist sync broken or is it just me?

Over the past day or so when I try to sync Steam wishlist it's giving me this error:

"There was a problem synchronizing your Steam wishlist. Please try again later."

Is it just me? All other syncs work, including my Stream collection.

Yes it's not working for me, too. I tried with both my steam accounts each with a different gg.deals account and it didn't sync in both. To be absolutely sure it's not a problem on my end, I made a completely new Steam account on a different device then wishlisted some games and signed in with it to gg.deals. Still the same problem.

There was an older thread about this problem in 2019 and people suggested you sync your gg.deals profile picture with Steam. I tried that. It syncs normally but it didn't fix the wishlist issue. I tried to sync a Steam collection. It also synced normally. The only problem is synchronizing your Steam wishlist.

I just tried syncing with GOG wishlist and it works fine. All syncs work at the moment except Steam wishlist as OP said

It might be a Steam-problem - I can only see my public wishlist if I'm logged in, otherwise it returns an Internal Server error (i.e. https://store.steampowered.com/wishlist/id/UserNameHere).

Xuth Can confirm this. This is most probably the issue. Let's hope Steam fixes this quickly.

As Xuth said, Steam wishlist page no longer works for guests. Our bot scans wishlists as a guest, so this broken wishlist syncs for us. Right now we'll wait and hope that Steam will fix it soon. But if the problem persists, we'll probably implement authentication support for our bot and start scanning wishlists as an authenticated user.

Oori I tried IsThereAnyDeal and it synced with my wishlist to the site's "waitlist" normally. If the problem was with Steam alone, it shouldn't have worked on a different site but it did. So it looks like gg.deals is also facing a problem.

Yeah, can confirm this happens and only when synching wishlist. Before the steam festival the wish synching was working like a charm. Apparently it was just after the SteamFest/sales that it started to happen...

Also, worth mentioning that If I try to synch steam game/library collection there is no error, it says that it was successful ,so what's the deal? If its a steam problem, then it shouldnt be synching anything, not just wishlist... Hope they fix it because I got like 100+ games on my wish this couple days...

We deployed a fix for this issue - wishlist sync from Steam should work now.
