We'd love to add Uplay, but it's not going be possible for now.

Ubisoft doesn't enable collections to be viewed publically. Unless you give us your login and password, we won't be able to see what games there are in your Uplay library. Obviously, we're not going to ask users for their passwords.

Hopefully in the future Ubisoft will allow users to share their collection publicly and once that happens, we will be able to add synchronization on GG.deals.

wojtek If you're talking about GOG Galaxy, it is a different case, because they can sync games from client side. I explained this a little bit more here.

Hmm, maybe create a small app that would be run locally and could retrieve this information like GOG Galaxy and then, using GG.deals API upload to your server? I'm aware it's not ideal and would require manual execution but would be better than nothing IMHO.

After quick googling there is https://github.com/gogcom/galaxy-integrations-python-api (under MIT licence) so the missing bit would be to update GG.deals. I googled for any kind of API for gg.deals and couldn't find anything...

AFAIK this API allows you to add games to GOG Galaxy collection, but does not allow you to fetch games from GOG Galaxy to somewhere else, so we won't able to use it to export collection from this client to our website (unless they changed something in last few months).

Having our own client is interesting idea and we discussed this internally some time ago, but this is not that simple. Right now we have other priorities.

Erhm, this library is a library/framework for fetching data from external sources (it seems that plugins for particular services are not included in the repository, which is kinda a bummer; though I see them locally installed so one possibility would be to require GOG Galaxy installed) and given it's under MIT it would be possible to fork/adapt it to add games to GG.deals instead of GOG :-)

This looks like an API for integrating external services with GOG Galaxy, so this is a bridge between GOG and plugin (which you need to write yourself). There is nothing interesting here unless you want to write a plugin to import collection from GG.deals to GOG Galaxy (which does not make much sense). It would be more interesting for us to perform the reverse operation - export collection from GOG Galaxy to GG.deals.

No, there is no such API. But it could be created if there will be use case for it. If community create app (or plugin for existing app) for syncing local collection with GG.deals, we could create API for it.

actually someone wrote a GOG Galaxy export script: https://github.com/AB1908/GOG-Galaxy-Export-Script/blob/master/galaxy_library_export.py
It seems to be a pretty standard SQLite database. There should be not be a huge problem to adjust this script to your api when you create it.

Importing Ubisoft Connect library doesn't work natively, but via Playnite. However, the native sync wouldn't be possible for now, due to the fact that Ubisoft Store doesn't allow user profiles to be public, and we have no other way of scanning your library.

Let us know if you encounter any issues with the Playnite sync!

Also - once the public profiles become available on the Ubisoft website, we will be happy to build a native solution too!
