remike It seems like you're overcomplicating the categorization here. Many of the categories you mentioned can be easily grouped together. And sorry to say, but you listing them separately here smells like a bad-faith argument.
These are essentially the same:
- Free trials, Free demos
- Alpha codes, Beta codes
- Free week, Free weekend
- Freebies to keep, Free with subscription
However, even this can be simplified further:
- Freebies β Use this existing tag only for "Freebies to keep", "Free with subscription".
- Free Trials β Create this new tag to cover all temporary access types: free trials, demos, alpha/beta codes, free weeks/weekends, etc. Itβs reasonable to consider demos, alpha/beta codes, and limited-time access as forms of game trials, so the "Free Trials" tag works well for all of these.
- New Releases β Use this tag for any new F2P game releases, instead of lumping them under "Freebies."
This approach keeps things organized and prevents the "Freebies" tag from being overloaded with temporary or trial content.
Only ONE new tag.
