We've made some improvements to platform filters / the way platforms are denoted.
There is a brand new Platform filter on Deals, Games, Wishlist, Alerts and Collection pages
- all platforms are visible at first glance. No scrolling
- platforms are grouped by families (Xbox family, Playstaion family etc)
- we are dividing platforms into two categories:
- primary platform: the platform for which the game was optimized and originally released on
- playable on: the platform which lets you play your game - either natively or via backwards compatibility
We have also made changes to the way the platforms are described on game pages. Here, we have also divided the platform descripion into two sections - Primary platform and Playable on. For example, Red Dead Redemption was originally released on Xbox 360, but it's playable only on Xbox One and Xbox Series.
