How about you guys - are you using GOG or only Steam exists for you? 😉 They have many decent discounts, great older titles which they are fixing that they work on modern hardware.

I don't have a huge library games there (only about 200 titles) but I like this place and I'm trying to focus on searching older games there.

At this point I have clents for steam, gog, uplay, origin and blizzard on desktop. Steam is my main library, gog I'm still using only for older games. Uplay origin and blizz are for games dedicated for these platforms ( ANNO for uplay, Dead Space for Origin, SC2 for blizz).

Own 230 + games on GOG, finished one (Tahira) pleyed 2 others... For me its only one platform->steam.

Never bought a single game there, when something is available on Steam and GOG I'm always choosing the first one, but it's nice to have a place where I could go and buy older titles whenever I want to, and it's great that most of them are coming with patches.

Sometimes (last promo with Shadow Warrior 2) I used GoG and I know it's pretty cool platform, they're working hard on it, organising good promotions but it's hard way ahead of them - King is only one and for now, nothing will dethrone Gaben and his company

GOG is my favourite platform and I regret not having found it earlier (at least before Steam). I like their approach to customers and to digital distribution in general (no DRM, fair price package etc.).

I'm using Steam as my main game client, but GOG is great for what it was created for in the first place - old games. Not that long ago I saw a video on youtube where the staff tells a little bit about how this works and it's a lot of work to adjust a game so that it can run properly on modern OS. And for these old games GOG is great. Although they are lacking some that I'm interested in, hopefully they will add them in the future.

I mainly use steam, gog only for older games or offline games, when I know I will not have access to the internet.

I have GOG account and i have 201 games on it. Somethimes i played older titles and Gwint, but it's not more often
than Steam or Battle.net.

I'm using GOG only for classic exclusive games, but I own there many more titles thanks to GOG Connect. I'm finishing about 1-2 games every year I have on GOG. This is the only place I'm buying games I plan actually to play, not to collect 😛

I know there are some people that don't use steam, only GOG. Maybe there is a need for them to make accounts on this site with email only, without the need of steam to login?

TheLastJedi This is a very good idea.
Some people focus only on a single gaming platform, not even particularly on GOG. I believe many people are using exclusively Uplay, Origin etc. There is no way for them to use GG.deals at the moment, right?

@Takelot I have the same feeling. I don't need another gaming platform for games that most of the time I can get on Steam/PS4

Steam for all Main Games. GOG for the old ones. dont like the others much 😉

I have 400 games on gog (mostly classics plus some dupes from gog connect) but never finished a single one. I started some of them but I never remember to get back to them, steam is my default gaming destination.

I don't have a huge library games on GOG, but I use this game service and I like it. I keep my fingers crossed for them and I wish them best. The competition between the sites will only come out good for us.

steam all the way for me. I tried gog but steam give way more support for me, so I'm sticking with steam.

I have over 600 games on GOG, but as a Linux gamer, I'm leaning more towards Steam these days. Steam is certainly doing more to promote Linux gaming than GOG is.

hummer010 I don't have 600 games on steam lol. but yeah, gog don't even give us a client while steam give us steamOS, steamplay, dxvk+proton. I think I have 15 games on gog, from the time I thought they would give a damn. Now I don't even browse their store.
